I have had a discussion with a few of the clubmembers on the prospects of a Wester-style game elsewhere (Useful Information), and there seems to be some interest to get a game going. Maybe the posts should be moved to this heading instead on second thought. I won't be able to get anything going until the next month (August) though, due to poor cashflow at the moment. Warhammer Historical Legends of the West seems to be the rules to buy then, has anyone had a chance to check it out? The Swede.

I guess you already know that I'm interested, but well: I am interested There's a decent chance I'll buy the rule-book in the next few days. Scouring the internet seems to have returned a pretty positive verdit on it. Although due to similarly poor cash-flow it might take me a while to get everything together, depends on how many models are required for a decent posse.

Watched "Tombstone" last night....it does whet the whistle I must say!! Someone in the club has the GW wild west rules, in the freebies that Matt gave away a couple of months ago (now wishing I'd blagged them, LOL). Must dig out my Wild West figures. They are Hinchcliff, purchased from the mighty Peter Guilder himself, whilst on one of his Wargame Holidays, many moons ago. Not sure if they are available now, probably not! Dave

Cool, well i'll hold off getting the rules until we've see if the club copy can be found. It would be nice to know what sort/how many figures to buy though. I'll do some investigating. EDIT: Another nice set of models, a bit cheaper as well - although they don't seem to be quite as good quality. dixonminiatures.co.uk/dixoncatalogue.asp?maintype=12

The rules are not owned by the club, they belong to the individual concerned (I have a feeling it's George!) Anyhoo, how about EM4 miniatures (I think Carl has some in the Cranfield shop) www.em4miniatures.com/ Ready painted, and rules !! Ready to go!! Dave
