Have a look at the Warhammer Historical web site.
The old west game they produce looks rather good. Sadly I've only ever got round to painting one model for it ;D

Some sort of Wild Westage also sounds good to me. Anything that in any way reminds me of Doomtown will probably float my metaphorical boat.

Ove, We have played wild west in the past, indeed we have a wild west town in the store room, albeit in card buildings. I have some gunfighters around somewhere. The new GW rules may be usefull for this. Dave

I have been doing some research into the matter Gents, and found two "lines" of figures that looks good and affordable, I'm quite partial to Black Scorpions though. But a question also arises, what/ how much impact in an actual game does the fact that the figures are of different size have? (Artizans are 28mm and Black Scorpion are 32mm, 29mm to the eyes they say). I mean, we're talking about 1 or 4mm here... Not a lot. Anyway, the rulebook from Warhammer (Legends of the Old West) looks very promising as well, despite a bit of errata that can be found on the site. Here are the links, enjoy. www.blackscorpionminiatures.comwww.artizandesigns.comwww.warhammer-historical.com/tow/tow.aspGonna tuck some money away for the coming month, and get my posse together. ;D The Swede.

I found this site as well: www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/OW/index3.aspSeems to be a little more expensive, but they have a really wide selection. I'm not sure how long it'll take me to get all this together, but I'm definitely very interested.

Beware Foundry figures! They are not all the same size. I know some people are taller than others but the difference here is bloody ridiculous.

Thanks for the tip Daveb, liked the look of Black Scorpions miniatures a lot better. But for that steep price (£2.20/ miniature) you'd expect some better quality than you described.
Looking forward to August already...

Ahhh glad to have knowledgable people about, thanks a lot. I'd spyed those Black Scorpion ones as well, but I was impressed by the sheer number of different models thar foundry had. I'll know to avoid them now though.

I've ordered the 'Legends of the Old West' rulebook. I'll be away from today until at least Friday, quite possibly Monday so if I don't get a chance to look at it before then (assuming it arrives) I'll bring it in next Monday.

I've a few "Babes with Guns" figures. One of which is wearing a Stetson (plus hot pants). This is the one. Mine has a much nicer paint job
