The type of mexicans at the Alamo were more akin to Napoleonics, as this was the war of Texan independance Vs Santa Anna, watch the film, with John Wayn in! Circa 1824,not 1880! The kind I am getting is more," Magnificent 7", or " My name is Trinnity", ah the spagetti western

The club has some card western buildings in the store, and there may be other bits and bobs we could use, not all scenarios need be from the book, or in a town! Dave That's true, although the book ones do look pretty good - they all have special rules and shizzle like that. But whatever we come up with should be fine. I'm playing Lawmen btw, looks like I'm outnumbered so far I've been watching from the Shadows thus far, but would quite like to take a look at the rules tonight if anyone has them at the club. Definitely interested in doing the 'not so' Goodies, depending on what factions there are etc. Saw some very funky Pinkerton models the other day.

There are only 3 basic factions - Lawmen, Outlaws and Cowboys. You could play around with who they are as much as you like I guess. I'll bring along my rulebook tonight - I'll be playing RuneQuest (RP) if you can't find me

Hi Joe,
My 40k game went right to the wire so I didn't get a chance to check it out. I do however have some Texas Rangers on order now, I'm considering calling my leader Chuck Norris simply on the grounds that I can then automatically declare victory when he deploys.
Besides with gold like this to work with who could go wrong:
Mexican: This is Mexico, Ranger! You've got no right! Ranger Cordell Walker: I've got no right? Mexican: No! [Walker punches the Mexican] Ranger Cordell Walker: I think that was a pretty good right.

After club last night I took a look at our club western scenery. It is alot more impressive than I thought, but needs a few light repairs, nothing a bit of superglue won't sort on the day. Dave
