It has been a couple of years since the Channel 4 documentary about the discovery of Richard III.
On Sunday the follow up documentary about the King's remains, his re-burial and the condition of his curved spine are discussed. Also a young man who suffers from the same curviture of the spine is subjected to some interesting tests to see if he can wear armour and fight in it. This should give us an idea about the King's abilities as a soldier and perhaps learn more about his fateful charge at Henry Tudor that cost him his life and crown.
Should be very interesting!

Its tonight - it is your mission to watch!
I understand that the chap who has taken on the role of Richard actually enacts the fateful charge down Ambion Hill at Bosworth where the King hacked his way through to Henry Tudor and was only stopped short by massed infantry.
For those of you, like me who excited by the history of this great and underated King MUST watch.
Funny really how this King who lost the battle generates huge interest yet Henry tudor, Henry VII, the victor of Bosworth is largely forgotten. Yet it was he who made huge sums on the medievel staock exchange, added a lovely extension to Westminster Abbey and founded the Tudor dynasty that gave us Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.
Watch or be useless!!!

Wasn't bad. A bit light on actual information but interesting never the less.
