Calling all Auto-Duellists
AADA - North End Arena - Division 15 - Amateur Night
Good Afternoon All - Car vs Car Combat in an Arena anyone?
I'm hoping to trial an upscaled version of Car Wars on Monday.
That is using Matchbox Cars instead of the little cardboard counters.
If you would like to join in please bring a vehicle ( I have some spares ).
- Thanks, Matt

This is also tempting to me as well. I haven't played Car Wars in a very long time (more than 10 years).
I'm also D&Ding but I'll probably pop over and have a look as well.

Most amusing game last night. Thank you Matt.
Amazing to think that the role players were worried that they might make too much noise as they were sighted near us. How wrong they were - it was the other way around. Ove in particular with his amazing sounds - wow!
Good game!

C'est La Vie (Morte)Thankyou again Gentlemen. Four Combat Debut's this time :-) After a "frenetic" 10 seconds of action Peter's 2CV Bites the dust as he is toasted by Steven's Flamethrower and the remaining Drivers retire. A little more confident with the Rules now after this game. I'll print out some more Reference Charts and Templates for the next time. House RulesFYI: Regardless of the Matchbox Car chosen all Cars where exactly the same Specification (the "Hotshot" example from Page one of the Rules). If you feel the need (and have a ruleset) then create a Vehicle with a budget of <= $14,600 to "Run What You Brung" the next time. At this Scale 1" Movement equates to a single Car Length. We did not alter the 10" Maximum Range of the Flamethowers ClarificationsOnly make a Control Roll at the point that the Handling Class alters (apologies Ove who was travelling in a straight line but with -ive Handling Class and still making rolls) Automatic Fire (apart from Smoke and Oil Dispensers) ROF is still a single shot per Turn (1 second) not per phase (apologies again Ove as I was opening fire at you every phase). Flamethrower hits are capable of ingniting their targets regardless of what location is hit. They also generate a Smoke trail that provides a -ive targetting Modification Attachments1. Steven's Jag and Peter's 2CV Trade shots 2. Mad Matt vs Officer "Bad Lieutenant" Ove Attachments:

Superb!!!
It's not just a Jag - its a JAGUAR XJ220! Yes at launch in 1989 it was the fastest and most expensive car around. Expect to pay £3m for one now!!!!!!
I am Clarkson!
