I'm currently working on my new (yet very old) army, the Vampires Counts.
I'd like to get some game(s) in with them, and will be about on both the all day Sunday and Monday 18th if anyone else is interested in a game. Depending on whats planned for the all day Sunday, I'd also be happy to play in a bigger game or group game then?
If you are interested just let me know, and if you have any preferences on game size and/or friendly/competitive lists then the same.
Regards, John

Hmmm Big WAB on the all day, sounds good. I haven't had chance to have a try of the new Vamps book, could bring mine and team up with you for a big vamp army!! Still really the old mini's (but do have a box set of the new ghouls as they are now close order unit!). have things like Zacharias on Zombie dragon, fell bats, lots of skellys, coach etc. Good chance to get out the ruined manor and the crypt!! Mark: Will of painted them quickly only done 7 models so far, but they were the testers for the colour scheme and were actually pdq so theirs hope yet. I'm spraying up my 30 Skeletons tonight, painting them tomorrow so I'll post an update then. I should have 2k+ easily by the all day, especially with Vlad and the Blood Knights ;D (Never seen something chew so many Swordmasters in one turn). Dave: Nothing wrong with the old minis and besides they look good. The more undead the better.

You're missing the point Dave - you don't use a black undercoat. You just spray on the bone and then paint the bits that aren't bone. Then dip! Even easier ;D

Thanks for the find Matt, I have been considering trying out dipping for a while, but it won't be on the Undead (I've already got my quick scheme started on them and quite like it). I certainly thing a very nice looking Nurgle Daemon army could be done quickly with it though, if I didn't dislike the new split Mortal/Daemon armies in Warhammer I'd probably give it a try.
The Grave Guard are now completely built, spraying them and painting them tonight, fingers crossed that goes well.

I'd suggest you hang on before you think about doing Nurgle.
Thats all I can say.

Well the Grave Guard and Vlad are as good as done plenty left to go but manageable. I know a Vampire Counts player down in Stevenage who might be interested if we can manage enough not yet dead players to face off against. I'm not going to be at the club tonight (oh the joys of working over timezones...) but if their is interest in a game next Sunday could someone let me know. Cheers, John
