Hi all
After some quick advice. My modelling has always been gw focused and so I'm used to using gw products. I'm looking for a modelling putty to fill the gaps in my old warhammer giant.
Ordinarily I'd use GW green stuff but would Milliput do the same job?

I have found that Milliput is stronger but coarser; good for filling big gaps but not as delicate for fine work. For what it's worth, there are other "green stuffs" available which are cheaper than GW. Gale Force 9, for example (100g = £9 (GF9), rather than 20g = £7 (GW))

If you want some to test, I've got some GF9 green stuff and some "standard yellow-grey" Milliput that you're more than welcome to borrow (other than the bits you use ... you can keep those bits).

Thanks Morgan I need to go shopping anyway as it turns out my superglue is perhaps as old as my giant! If I get stuck (not with the glue) I'll let you know

The standard milliput is quite coarse, but there is a finer grain version which you might find is better (depending on what you are doing with it)
Best place to try (that I've found) is Goldings on the High Street – remember to ask for the fine grian version

Funnily enough I have literally just walked out of Goldings with some superfine Milliput thanks Mike That should fill the gaps in my giant (apart from filling his stomach!).

Getting there! Forgotten how much extra work pinning metal parts together is. No wonder most of the industry has moved towards plastic and resin! (That and the cost of metal)
