Hello fellow gunslingers,
Last time Ove an I played an issue came up over quickdraws. I was quite happy with the solution, but I think Ove was a bit iffy about it. So I thought it best that we clear it up before it arises again.
It occured when: My Sherrif, Deputy and Vigilante were out in the street between two groups of Ove's dirty outlaws. One of his groups called a quickdraw, and my Sherriff's lot followed suit. Then Ove's other group also declared a quickdraw. We then had to decide who shoots first.
There's nothing in the rules about this and, as far as I can see, nothing in the online errata. What I suggested was it should just be random. The idea of the quickdraw, in my eyes, is that the hero uses a point of fame to shoot before everyone else. If two heroes pull a quickdraw in the same phase then they are effectively shooting at the same time. That means it's just down to luck who shoots first.
The way we resolved it was: We rolled a D6: 1-2 Ove's first group shot first, 2-4 My group shot first, 5-6 Ove's other group would should first. Then once whoever went first went first we rolled a D6 again with 1-3 being one group and 4-6 being the other. This seemed, to me, to be the fairest and most realistic way of sorting it out. But what do you guys think?

In hindsight I think you're idea is the best one to deal with this kind of situation. At the time it grieved me that I had in fact spent 2-3 points of Fame, which are hard to come by, in relation to your 1 point. But as far as probability goes, I had about 75% chance to get the first shot, which I didn't get in the end, but that's life. The Swede.
