If you haven't already done so, could you please let Steve Wilson know if you intend to play in this years tournament. He's trying to find final numbers and thus confirm the format.
He's hoping to start before the end of June.
See the blog for more details - or Steve Wilson for an entry list.
Cheers
Mark

I'm being my (currently) usual self and not coming next Monday (I will be playing in a Warhammer Tournament at Warhammer World Monday Day).
How ever I will definitely take part in the League with my Vampire Counts. I'll bring the list along on Monday 2nd June.

Was that the WPS CC? If so, how did you get on?

I'm in but unsure as to whether I'm using my Chaos Beasts, Mortals or just plain old dwarfs (if I can get them all the beard chaps painted in time).

I don't think it was the WPS CC, my acronym f00 isn't up to it. It was a tournament run at Warhammer World for 4 stores from around Birmingham (Solihull, Dudley and two others). Approximately 40 WFB players.
I managed to lose the first game VS Empire. I really should of won but didn't quite grasp how VC worked until too late. Score was 1100 to 750 (Solid Victory to Empire).
Second game VS High Elves, I made a shocking mistake and gave him a cliffed hill to set up his Repeater BTs and Archers on, but managed to win in the end. 1100 to 600.
Third game vs Lizzies, played a blinder and completely wiped the floor. His magic defence was good, but it had been in the last two games so I'd gotten reasonably good at not relying on it. 2100 to 450.
Was a really good tournament, certainly put my list to the test. I could probably of done with playing some friendly games with the VC first so I had a better idea how they worked.

We are nearly ready to start. The following people are confirmed as wanting to take part and I have allocated to the two leagues based strictly on ranking from last year. New players have been added to an appropriate league depending on experience and probable army. e.g. Keeping the 2 empire armies apart.
League 1: Mark Wightman (Army TBC) Steve Wilson (Dark Elf list to be submitted) John Graham (Vampire Count list submitted) Brian Rickets (Tomb Kings list submitted) Dave Wilkin (Empire TBC) Mike Armstrong (High Elf list to be submitted) Barry Warner (Orcs and Goblins TBC)
League 2: Steve Mawson (Skaven list submitted) Derek Yates (High Elf TBC) Terry warden (Empire list to be submitted) Robert Purser (Army TBC) David Bettison (Chaos list submitted) Matt Beech (Beastmen TBC) Ashleigh Grainger (Vampire counts list submitted)
If everyone can submit their list as soon as possible by end of July at the absolute latest. I am not looking at any lists submitted until they are all submitted so that no one gets any advantage. They will then all be validated, required changes made, then play will commence.
