As many of you will already know we are planning to put on a large Flames of War demonstration game on both days of this show.
This is a thread to discuss that game.
So, to get things started. Who is planning on helping out? For myself, I will be there both days.

Third (and last attempt ) Me. When are chaps arriving? Do you need any of my toys?, if so what? Do you still need my barbed wire thingies and my trees and trees bases, (about 20)? DaveB

Hi Dave,
Yes - we need your toys, and your help on the day if you're available.
I'm not exactly sure what you have, but we can certainly use any and all the barbwire that you have.
Do you also have some 21st Panzer painted? We're not exactly short of Germans, but we I think we need more of those 21Pz oddities.
Start time is 10:00, but we need people there before 9:00am if possible.

The show opens when the centre opens to the public, usualy about 9am. We will need to be there about 0730 in order to unload and set up the game in time. We usually unload at door 14(?) near John Lewis, then park in the free areas (green zone) across the road. This is also a good reason for a prompt arrival, so as to get a space! Dave

Dave will you be bringing the noticeboard along to the show? I've just found I have a copy of the 1944 map used to plan the Glider landings and supporting Airdrops, which I could bring along.

OK - I'll bring the map then. Maybe somebody can do some flyers about the game. I can't remember who did them last time, but it wasn't me. Right - need to get back to painting these Horsa Gliders - *%&k%$ invasion stripes

Mark or Dave, Is there any way you can e-mail me the appropriate pages from Monty's whatever it's called that cover the Germans? I have a few vehicles that may be useful for light recce elements, armoured cars that sort of thing. If I can get it before Monday then I can let you know what I can provide.

I am planning on being there for both days. Do we need to produce a rooster of available units for the game? or just wing it on the day.

Dave, sorry mate, can't find Monty's Meatgrinder anywhere. Just bring what you can and we'll work it out on the day. We won't be sticking to points or lists too closely.
