Maurice was seen in possession of a copy of "Secrets of the Third Reich" earlier today . . .
. . . and I've painted 30 German Zombies . . .
. . . could this be another trend starting . . .

Does this mean you have enough mini's to do Brainwurst?
I've put my SoTR models on the back burner as I've been busily painting Easterlings for WoTR.
Still very keen on SoTR as the rules and back ground look a lot of fun.

I've 30 German Zombies awaiting a final dollop of gore, then varnishing. The Americans (and 14 more Zombies) are based and undercoated, but I've not started them yet.
I've caught the War of the Ring bug too. Bought 200+ figures at Campaign at a ridiculously cheap price. Painted a handful of Uruk-Hai and wargs last week too.

The Uruk's look like a very nasty army to play against - the core troops are tough and they have some nice characters.
I've got 1500 points of Fallen Realms and I can bump this to 2000 with the addition of a Balrog ;D Even so 1500 points is a truck load of Haradrim and Easterlings. Not to mention a Mumak.

1500 pts is quite a daunting number of models for several of the armies. How many Morannon Orcs would that be? 500ish, so 60 odd bases of 8, and they're not the cheapest by any means. Moria Goblins work out at about 2pts a model.
The Uruks and the Easterlings were always my two favorites from the books. I've tried to pick them up where I can, but eBay prices are rising as interest picks up in the game.
I've got 2 unmade Mumaks though. Pretty daunting model to assemble and paint. I've a Balrog somewhere too. Not sure where, but he must be skulking about in the depths waiting for a hobbit to drop something down a well.

And I have 1,500 - 2,000 pts of dwarves. Picked up some Vendel dwarf huscarls at Campaign to masquerade as Kazhad guard or Murin's guard.
Oh, and I have the Secrets of the Third Reich rulebook too.

Oh, and I have the Secrets of the Third Reich rulebook too. Martyn Do you have a leaning towards a particular faction? I've picked up German Zombies, Werewolves etc, plus some Russians. I've a regular 28mm Russian army that I could use too.

I had a mild attraction to the Yanks - I like the Commanche battle-suits.
BTW, the Vendel wear-bear is a thing of beauty !

I have some Panzer Grenadiers already - I just like the idea of fielding were wolves and vampires.
