I've very little information regarding this event, but it does sound intriguing. (From the Wargame Workshop WebsiteBring you Warhammer Army along for a Legendary Battle. Grimgor Ironhide, lord of the Black Orcs, has been expanding his empire by joining forces with the likes of Skaven, Chaos and Dark Elves. This evil force is descending on the critical stronghold of Cranfield, knowing that control of the fortress will provide a crucial base for future expansion. Opposing this expansion is an alliance of humans from the Empire & Bretonnia, alongside solid Dwarves and the elusive Wood Elves. Who will control the key objectives at the end of the day? Come and join this massive 10,000+ point battle which will use the new Warhammer Legenday Battle rules. Any size of army is welcome, but must conform to the normal army composition rules and should be in multiples of 1000 points to aid organisation on the day. Please bring an army list with you. All races welcome, some such as Ogres can ally to either side so will be used to balance up the sides on the day. Arrive early to start setting up your forces – this will be a long and bloody battle! (10am Sharp!) Check out the Wargames Workshop website for more details.

We only had 6 players, but it worked out quite, though we could have done with a bit more time as grimgor entered the Castle, but didn't have time to go on the rampage!
Would there be any interest in me organising another event of this type?

I'll check out some possible dates with Carl - November or early December I guess.
Will write up a scenario to follow on from the last one closer to the event.
