Nice to see how the leagues are shaping up, looks like there's a bit of a breakaway at the top of both divisions. From a purely mathematical perspective however, given the integer values of the competitors' scores, shouldn't the players on zero (0) points actually be mid-table? Edited for a typo.

From a purely mathematical perspective however, given the integer values of the competitors' scores, shouldn't the players on zero (0) points actually be mid-table? Nope. Tables are sorted on "points" then "VP difference". VP difference isn't the first tie-break though, it's face-to-face record. It's just easier to use VP difference until the very end.

Yes, that makes sense; thanks for the clarification.

Updated with last nights games.
Stephen wins Division 1, and Mark joins him in the semi-finals in second place.
A quick crunch of the numbers reveals that all six players in Division 2 could still mathematically qualify, but with the exception of Chris & Daiv most players would need to win all of their remaining games by Massacre to catch them.
The situation may be becoming a little clearer, but there's everything still to play for.

Updated with the result of Ashleigh vs Dave.
Dave can no longer make the playoffs, so the situation is starting to become clearer. Mike, Ben and Ashleigh can all still catch Chris and Daiv, but pretty much need Massacres from here on in to do it.

Hah, you'll have to get past my elves first -- snowball's chance in Hell comes to mind
And Chris' chaos beasts -- unlikely at best
And Ben's ogres -- well, you might have a chance against them
;D ;D ;D
