Did anyone else notice the article on the FoW site regarding the large Total War game played by the Cambridge and Northampton clubs? I was wondering if as a club we would have enough interest to see if it was something we could try, I am sure that we have the figures that would be required. I am fairly sure that Dave has contacts with the Northampton club not sure about Cambridge.

Hmmm.... just took a peek at the article in question. I was vaguely aware of the Northampton Vs Cambridge meet, but not in any detail. Yes I have contacts for Dave Lister from Cambridge club, via the Interclub yahoo group I started, years ago, and of course Nobby from Northampton. Where we proposing a three way club game? or maybe 4 with Rushden? could 2010 be a FOW revival? Dave

It could be an oppurtunity for us to meet the other clubs if it is something they plan to continue with. I did down load the large battle rules but as yet I havent read them so I dont know what the differences are. I would like to start up our interest in FoW again as it seems a shame to have the figures sitting there doing nothing. It could give me an excuse to get my late war Yanks started.

Well, James is always looking for a game of FoW, maybe give him a game to shake the rust off those rules! Here is a thought, we have an all day sunday coming up, how about a game then? Dave
