Martyn I think you have have the detailed right answer. In Previous competitions you were allowerd to change laws as the WHFB book did not cover this, however the latest rulebook specifically does henxe why I put it in the rules note this time round. Auctorati 2010 We are now well into 2011 and we still haven't started OK people, here's the thing As nothing has noved on this for some time now I have gotten involved with other long running projects, most notably running RQ twice a month and the GCN playtesting bedfordgladiators.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=news&action=display&thread=1128(when that finally gets started). As a result, even if we started actually playing now, I am no longer certain that I will be able to finish all my matches before the AGM. Because of this I hereby withdraw from the tournament. Regards Mike

The reason the play testing hasn't started, is I had to get the miniatures to Terry, the work thing becoming a real pig and getting in the way of everything! plus note I have no 3G in Andover.

Wasn't meant as a criticism of you Dave
Just noteing that allowing time for that and RQ isn't goimg to leave time to compete in the fantasy tourney
Sorry if you thought I was trying to hurry you along

A quick question about the Auctorati tournament's status; summer is here and it might be nice to get together to play some Warhammer as a club.
Is it still possible to have the club's WHFB tournament for the 2010/'11 season? We are well into 2011, and there hasn't been an Auctorati 2010/'11 club tournament. Rather than breaking with the tradition of a yearly event, I'm sure most would agree it would be nice to have had it done and dusted.
Perhaps it can still be done by changing it to a knock out format rather than a league and scheduling the bulk of play for an All Day Sunday. The semi finals and final could then be run on a regular club night if there wasn't time to resolve them on the All Day Sunday.

A long lingering death but Auctorati 2010 is officially dead.

Steve, Thank you for trying to get this off the ground, its a shame after all the work has been put in. Roll on the 2011 competition, but I suspect that this will be problematic due to the new books that have started to appear.
