Hi Guys, I've got nothing sorted for next Monday, is anyone else looking for a game? I've got forces for WFB, 40k, AT-43 and Full Thrust but will play pretty much anything is someone is fool hardy enough to lend me the minions John

John,
I "should" be back in time to come over for a game on Monday. I really wouldn't mind testing my 1500 point beast list out against the might of the VC's.
Unless of course you're all Warhammered out.

I'd be happy to give you a game.
I remember Dave saying something about a game of FOG he was half expecting to be playing on the 28th, which I thought was with you? (Just want to check we're not leaving Dave high and dry).
If that isn't the case then give your beasts a quick dip because it's shearing time! @=(^_^@)

I think it was more that he knew you were after a game and he was keeping the Monday free.

John, I've spoken to Dave and he's going to play Carl and I'll be making sure your VC's stay even deader than they are already I'll be bringing my 1500pt Beasts Tournament list. I got my bottom well and truly handed to be by the High Elves, so I'm hoping they do better against one of the other new army book armies. Although with a LD of 7 for my general I can see me failing those fear tests. Cheers, Matt

I'll get you next time Von Gadget! Superb game - thoroughly enjoyable. It had everything you could want from a game of WHFB. Cheers, Matt

You did get me, crushed under foot by rampaging Beastherds, how ever my minions are evidently not as mindless as I thought Now all I need is a few weeks touring in a Black Coach while my limbs put themselves back together and all will be well. For his efforts my Wight King shall now be known as "Beast's Bane". I assume it was the "Codpiece of Commandment" (transfers WS) to which you refer? It was a really enjoyable game, close and chaotic right to the bitter end.# Regards, John

As it was his first subjection to me, I decided not to force Matt to endure the Flash Heart esque "Woof" and pelvic thrust each time it came into use.
So how did your game with Mark go? Any valueable lessons learnt about the stunties?

It was the WS and the you can't cast spells, strikes first in combat corpse cart.
Nice piece of kit that - if it took the stones and of undead horses hooves it would be ideal for Manfred Von Powell and the Ghoul Scouts!
I think I did myself out of 100 points as well for the banner of my Beastigor. They ran off the table rather than got run down.
Either way I'll be back - once my Beasts have got off the toilet - apparently all that undead vampire flesh plays havoc with the bowels! ;D
Its like cow pats but much much worse with the Gor.

Oddly the banner for the Beastigor came to me on the train. Strangely while cutting my hair I realised we didn't count the banner for the minotuars - so the points stay the same.
I need to get out more.

I may be mistaken, but I thought you got Banners for breaking an enemy and pursueing. It isn't required that you actually catch them, don't have the BRB with me so can't be 100% sure.
As yes the Corpse Cart did put on a sterling performance, it's one of the units I'm really not sure whether I should take or not. The ASF and -1 to cast are great, but at 100 points that's basically all you get, and considering a scroll caddy that gives me 2 dispel scrolls, 1PD & 1DD only costs 5 points more I'm not sure it is cost effective.

I thought you got the banners for simply breaking the enemy, no persute required, but I could be wrong on that as well.
