Well, as the new year is nearly upon us I unfurled my Mini Wargames Wallplanner, and pinned it to the gaming room wall. Now what do we have when?? hmm where is Campaign it's usually in may??? WHAT it is on the same weekend as UK Games Expo....DISASTER !! which one do I go to, can this be a typo. Check the MKWS site..NO it really is the same weekend, aparently May is unavailable for hiring the MK venue...AARGH! Dave

In case you had not noticed Triples has moved to May, and Abingdon has moved to March as well.

Yes, I had noticed triples move, that doesn't affect anything I am interested in,and not too bothered about Abingdon, as I don't go to that one. But as I said the Milton Keynes / Expo clash is the big problem as we always support the MK show, and Birmingham is...well....great fun! I had thought about you guys doing the MK show, and maurice and I doing our usual Birmingham piss up...ermmm ...gaming session! OK right the first time! Dave

I must admit I hadnt realised how late campaign was this year, 4th & 5th of June. Had a small scare as we have moved our summer holiday forward this year going on the 11th June. I cant believe Dave that you would rather go on a binge in Brum than come to MK!

Perhaps we should take our big fantasy game to brum this year and stay over - Dave do they allow demo games? Steve Welsh and Pete could perhaps cover MK with a WW2 game?

No worries I doubt I will be allowed to go to Birmingham all weekend anyway!

Thinking aloud really Terry....it is just I hate to have to choose,as obviously I would rather go to both. It is more board gamey and RPG orientated however, at Expo. Not as many traders doing the mainstream miniatures gaming as at MK. But I bet there will be some traders who have to choose as well...not a good choice of weekend from the MKWS committee I think. It will be interesting to see how this hits them.

It was all very tongue in cheek, I appreciate your dilemma, I hadn't even noticed the change of date.

Reminder: MK Campaign will now be 9th-10th July (according to the MK club's own website: I suspect this could be a further change since the previous posts).
