The updated situation:
Confirmed Imperial players=4 (15,000pts)
sapper: SM 2000pts
sanderson: SM 2500pts
jameswatson: SM 6500pts
dave3:BA 4000pts
Confirmed Xenos players=1 (8,000pts)
mike954: 'nids plus Tau & Khorne Daemons= 8000pts
Uncommitted players= 1
michaelanstead: Eldar 1500pts +Pedro Kantor & Crimson Fists 800pts= 2300pts
If michaelanstead joins the Imperials, then it looks like 17,000pts of Imperials and 8000pts of Xenos on the table at the moment.
We may need a chapter of Space Marines to succumb to the whisperings of Chaos at this rate, or perhaps bulk up the Xenos with the loan of some of your 'nids, Dave!
Despite the large amount of points on the table, I have a feeling that with alot of points in assault forces on the table (Blood Angels, 'nids, Khornate Daemons) the game should move along fairly well with less shooting phases per turn to speak of, and melee combats resulting in casualties twice per game turn.

I can definatley make this, missed WAY to many games and for once im off at the weekend
I can manage 3k of marines, and if needed ive got about 750 points of Chaos marines that can be added in aswell, dont mind being on the Xenos side if it evens things out.

Start time:It might be an idea to think about what time people want to arrive to begin the slaughter. The Northend club opens at 12pm. It will probably take about an hour to set up the game, so let's share our thoughts people. Change of plans, ive managed to wrangle up 4k of ultramarines to bring along to the brawl
If needed i can spare about 800 points of chaos marines if youd like?

Well I'm trying hard to at least get a base coat and finish all my extra mini's so I'll have 3500 - 4000 points. I was shocked when I added up all the points!
And with James out looks like the marines need all the help they can get!

I am good for arrival at 1200 for setting up and starting about 1230-1300. Does that sound ok?
How are we set for including Spearheads in this battle?

Yes, bring along whatever weird and wonderful stuff you'd like, it's a great chance to give those rarely used minis or formations in your collection an outing  I'm happy to come along at 12pm to help set up. If necessary the early birds can try some "40k in 40 minutes"! |
