Leafing through the rules again, I discovered two things that we played absolutely wrong.
1. A Strike Team can't have more Specialists than the have regular Troopers, so the Enforcers for starters would have been absolutely grounded for that. Missile Launcher, Medic, Burst Laser are all specialists and then there was a Sergeant and a single Defender Trooper I believe... Have to look out for that next time.
2. I interpreted the Plague Stage 1A Really Tough ability totally wrong. Each time the model is damaged, it deducts 2 points of damage (3 with one point of armour), it still only has 1 level of injured and next time it takes 4 points of damage or more it's killed. It doesn't mean that it has extra two levels of Wounded, but you need 4 points of damage at least in one hit to hurt it, which can be quite difficult!
Also, next time we shall play with the Command points, essentially a pool of points that each Strike Team has access to during the whole battle, only Leaders can initiate the action and it does different things depending on the degree of success, you can Distract enemy troops, thusly count them as activated, give a free action to a unit of your choice, or add/ choose Battle Cards from your deck, adding another tactical aspect.

My package is in Nottingham & will be with me tomorrow! Excited!! D Well done Damon!!! Looks like you have almost three weeks to do that then, I won't be down at the club for at least the coming two Mondays . I might have the terrain painted by then though, and if you have some, the more buildings and stuff we can put up, the better...

Your package is in Nottingham - well it must be big because mines under my desk - i keep it close by for close encounters!
Ove - im sure you might be able to find other terrain that may be suitable for the game in the storage room - we will soon get things moving better there and you will be able to see more easily what we actually have!

Steven: THAT phrase could be interpreted in more than one way, and some of them are not pleasant to consider at all... Yes, I aim now to have a little rummage around upstairs as I backed a kickstarter project and will soon have a new lush set of Post-Apocalyptic skirmish mayhem rules to try out. ANYTHING with a modern/ near future slant will of course be considered to bring out on the table (must use that TV-tower and the tanker you have...)
