I am OK with either day. I would suggest if we intend to ask other clubs down for the weekend we invest in the new tables we have been talking about. By the way, the polo shirts are ordered! We could have a cake again, as on our 35th, and a buffet on one of the days, perhapse. I could put on a BP napoleonic with what I have so far for Quatre Bras. Bolt action, SAGA Star wars are also popular games with many clubs. maybe a little tournie?

As we all appear to be flexible over the date I am going to suggest we go for the October weekend as that will give us a little more time to get sorted. I have a willing volunteer to make us a cake which I will donate to the clebration. As regards other clubs having spoken to a few of you for ideas it looks like we will invite our neighbours at Rushden,Hitchin and Huntingdon to see if they would like to come over. I know that some of you have contacts with the local board games club do you think they might like to come? Not sure that a buffet is such a good idea they havent been that good previously, we have a nice local venue for breakfast and plenty of venues to chose from for an evening curry. If we could start to think about what we may like to do on the daywe can get an idea of the tables and space we may need.

For those of you who may have missed it last night we confirmed that we can get into the club at 10:30 on the Saturday. Who ever arrives first just needs to knock the back door to attact the attention of the cleaner who will let us in. Apart from the vintage D&D and a large historical game (looks like being a ACW game using Fire and Fury and I am sure we can find a command for anyone that wishes to join) I havent heard if anyone else has anything planned? There is a chance that the Hitchin club may come over and put on a game I will try and confirm this next weekend at the Derby show.
