Yes very interesting isnt it.
Reminds me of the Bosnia conflict with that M36 Jackson covered in conveyor belt rubber as added armour. The BTR60 in the shot with plates folded down over the wheels is interesting as well. Mind you, the whole point of the vehicle having large wheels is to go fast and those plates could easily become fouled in the wheels if they get bent and tear off the tyre.
It just sows that necessity is the mother on invention!
Reminds me also of the WW1 era British Male tank captured by the Germans that was kept as a museum exhibit in Berlin and eventaully ended its life in 1945 fighting the Soviets!
