So on a v last minute whim yesterday, I decided to get up super early and head to London (just like a work day really!) and go to the first day of a two day rpg con run by the Shadow Warriors club in west London. There were 4 tables of Pathfinder Society play in each session and a good turnout. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the facilities were good, with tea on hand from a tuck shop, a trade stall selling various games and we were also close to numerous food shops and supermarkets. GMs for both games I played were excellent. Best of all I got to advance my level 8 fighter twice. Once in "The Fires of Karamoss" which was another excellent technology themed adventure from season six. We had a lot of fun including, without saying too much, some great nods to Stargate and a certain Kubrick film... We also all very very nearly died horrifically In the second game I played Serpents Rise an interesting break from the norm in which you play pregen Evil Aspis Consortium Agents breaking into the Pathfinder's Grand Lodge in Absalom. You can then apply credit to your normal PFs characters. This was also a lot of fun. I played a neutral aligned human female rogue whose mission included an amusing encounter with a certain slightly annoying halfling pathfinder NPC whom you would all recognise from The Confirmation game we played last month All good fun! My next planned rpg con is 3xp in November.
