We've got our next all day Sunday coming up in a couple of weeks, and we're looking to run some more Pathfinder Society games then.
As ever let me know if you're interested in playing or running any games.

I'm in Very happy to run one or two games as usual. Preference In order would be: 1) second part of the two parter I started with Will, Stephen, Mike, Craig and Ethan. This would require those people but someone else could join in too (no need to have played the first part). This may be tricky as it may also require someone else to dm a second table (although did I hear Izzy say they were planning to bring down star was rebellion and play that rather than a second slot?) 2) second level of the emerald spire (happy to run this twice) 3) bid for alabastrine - which I'm running at paizocon in July - happy to run this twice too All the best Chris

I can confirm that Ethan isn't going to be here this Sunday as he's got a Rugby team thing going on. So unfortunately 1) is out.
I'm looking at running Traitors Lodge myself, which is 3-7. If you do run Emerald Spire I'd quite like to play that myself, as I've already done the first level mission a while ago.

Thanks Stephen. In that case, I'll run the second level of Emerald Spire twice. This is tiered at levels 1-3 and is called "The Cellars". As a module, it will provide 3xp and 4pp and a significant pile of gold. (If your character survives....)
You don't have to have played level one to take part. All welcome as ever
Cue evil GM maniacal laughter...

Nice. Not sure which character I'll be playing this with, Connavar, Galen, and Torvold are all to high a level now. Might give my brawler who's never seen play a go.
Also we might have a couple of extra new players coming down. One of Nick's friends has said he might be coming along, and also one of the ladies from the Bedford Boardgaming meetup has said she might come down as well.

That's great guys
I note that we only have eight confirmed – that leaves either: – one game with seven players (err… that don't work) – or two games with three players each
Need more players – as always, all welcome
Chris – Tamara (level 3 elf ranger) is well up for part 2 of The Emerald Spire Stephen – Don't believe I've played Traitors Lodge os I'll put Monroe in that (dwarf cleric, level 3 if I remember correctly)
See you all on Sunday

We could have Morgan as well of course. Might be worth you preping something incase we do get quite a few players, as I would ideally like to play the Emerald Spire Cellars myself, so would prefer not to run two back to back games this time round.

OK, consider me "in". I should warn you that I've not played Pathfinder (my last experiences of anything even vaguely similar would be D&D 3.5) so will need a certain guidance when it comes to the numbers, etc. Thanks for the offer :-)

No problem. Pathfinder is basically 3.5 with some tweaks, so you're not going to notice to much of a difference mechanically.
You can run a pre-gen if you like. Or altenatively we can look at generating a character quickly for you if you want. If you'e down for the breakfast in the morning this might be easier.

A mate here in the office has pointed me at some OGL stuff that will give me a bit of a head-start. My characters always tend towards the prosaic (ie: single-class, no frills) which ought to make it easier and quicker to get going. Anything that I particularly need to know that would be very desirable or a no-no? Should I shelve that desire to play a psionic were-rhino who worships Juiblex? ;-)

Hi Morgan All you need to know is in this free guide here: paizo.com/products/btpy84k4This describes how to create a character (along with the core rulebook) and sets up the background for the pathfinder society. Rules are available free online here: paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/And you can get a prettier pdf of the core rulebook for a very reasonable 10 dollars here: paizo.com/products/btpy88yjI also have a spare rulebook you can borrow if you pop round sometime. Other general tips: don't neglect will saves, don't neglect hit points, enjoy!

Just a quick note for all pfs players:
At a recent convention, several of the people in the know were pretty sure that the special races available for starting characters are likely to change again when the season ends in July some time. These haven't changed for two years so it may indeed be time. Therefore if anyone wants to create a kitsune, nagaji, tengu or wayang character (without a special boon) I'd advise creating it and playing with it asap. (Normally when they change these available races they ask that existing characters must have played at least one game before the change date).
Of course the rumour I heard may be wrong but thought I'd pass on what I heard!

Just an update to attendance. Spoke to Will last night and he's confirmed that he's coming and can stay for both sessions.
