Evening all,
I'm going to be running a 4-person game of 7TV at the Hereward show at the end of August beginning of September (thanks for pointing that out!). However, all things being equal, I should be in possession of the fancy terrain boards before that. I also wouldn't mind play-testing the game before the show itself. Soooo, if anyone is interested in a game on the above-mentioned Sunday, let me know and I'll bring the kit along. People who haven't played before would be particularly welcome so I can gauge how easy it will be to teach the game in a 4-person scenario.
Cheers,
M

Some pictures of the board as I try to work out the starting positions.

By the way, it'll take me a little while to set up the board (probably 30 minutes or so) so please don't feel that you have to be there super-early.

Kev, the laser pointer that you are after is: Army Painter's "Target Lock". Wayland Games' website claims to have them in stock.

Hi Morgan Thanks for showing us the ropes on 7TV a few weeks back and cheers to the others for letting myself (+ Graham) have a game (we felt a bit bad making you spectators). It was most amusing game, I particularly enjoyed the 'capture bubble' and the gradual escalation as the game progressed. Cracking demo board as well. Cheers Ash

More than welcome, old chap. It was very useful for me as it meant that the two games that I ran for punters at Hereward were that much smoother. Hope to see you again!

I missed last Sunday's session, but will try to come along in October. What's the best way of finding out what's going to be played on a given day, or is it a more ad-hoc?

I was busy myself last weekend (running around a field, pretending to be a wizard or an orc; I could describe live roleplaying in a more classy way but ...)
I think that different people organise things in different ways; sometimes it's a pre-arranged game between mates with the club as the convenient venue, sometimes there's a post up on this forum somewhere. There's also the meet-up group which is used by a number of people (http://www.meetup.com/Bedford-Gladiators-Wargaming-Meetup/) and the Facebook group which doesn't seem to get as much traffic. Organisation??? Nah! :-)
