I was playing around with a free Magic card creator, whipping up these simple cards for some stuff (Mutations, a Horse, a Dark Stone Chest and some other bits and bobs). I get the impression that more people are planning on buying these handy Dark Stone Chests so might print up one or two more .

It was a good game tonight gents, the heroes did well and now we are laden with cash and experience !!! Next time 30/1 I am on a late shift so can't make it until 2010ish, would appreciate if someone could pick up the game and bring it down for me. On Chris' request, we will be doing Targa Plateau Other World and see how we get on with gates and stuff. Only thing is, when I put the game away tonight I noticed that my converted Bandido was missing the left gun hand, did anyone see it when we put the game away?

Just a quick reminder, next SoB game at the club this Monday 30/2, however, I am working until 2000 so will not be down until around ten past. We will start with the Travel Hazards and do the Town Visit before heading out to the (exciting) first Other World Adventure!! On request from Chris we will do the Targa Plateau, so I have prepped the Enemy Decks with Monsters only encountered at the Targa Plateau (and thereabouts, so the pesky Scafford Gang is still in the run...). Suggestions are, that we roll randomly for which of the six Targa Plateau Scenarios we are doing, and I thought it'd be nice to do two Targa Plateau Adventures, Two Jungles of Jargono and perhaps (if I get the expansions finished and painted) two of either Caverns of Cynder or Trederra, and then we'll see how people feel about it if they want to continue the campaign or if they are happy to stop there. Which should take us forward towards April . The following suggested dates for SoB are: 13/2 27/2 (I finish work 2000) 13/3 (I finish work 2000) 27/3 (but I don't know what rota looks like at the moment)

Thanks Ove I think I'm in for 2 more sessions including this Monday. I'm beginning to feel like I want to try some other games and I also know I'm unavailable for gaming on the 27/2 anyway as I have a training course. Therefore seems a good time for me to stop. Others are welcome to carry on playing Max Grit assuming he is alive after the next two sessions Look forward to the Targa Plateau!

As Stephen said: "Spending so much money on a game, it'd be stupid NOT to play it !!!) With my work/ childcare I try to be available every second Monday so I can play and I am happy to run SoB as long as people want to play, if there's space (caters for up to six players) people are ALWAYS welcome to sit in on the session, taking over a character not played in that scenario. Obviously, with me owning all of the official stuff (except for those Jargono Swamp Slugs, but they are soon being ordered...), I would love to play EVERY expansion and EVERY scenario. But, as there are 6 basic scenarios, and 6 in EACH expansion (we have just played through the six basic ones) and with 4 expansions to play it'd be 24 scenarios, one every fortnight (or thereabouts), which would take 48 weeks or most of this year!!!

Very much enjoyed last nights game.
I've now finally got enough saved up to allow me to buy that double-barrelled shotgun I've had my eye on for ages, assuming the town we've travelled to has a general store.
As I mentioned yesterday I think I'll definately play another couple of scenario's, taking us up to the end of February. After that like Chris I think I'm probably going to want to take a break, given we'll have been playing this at that point for three months.
I'll be happy to do another campaign of this later on, but I think I'll want a couple of months where I get a few other games in, maybe try and make a dent in my unplayed games pile.

I enjoyed it too, even though we had to make a quick scramble through the last rounds to finish the game in time!!! That is perfectly fine by me, I am happy to have been able to play the game down at the club, particularly as I've got almost everything for it, which makes it a very difficult game to play in my limited living space... I am more than happy to play up until the end of February and give it a break, I am sure there's a dent in 'someone's' (Matt...) gamepile that needs to be made and likewise happy to play more SoB later this year or next one. Also gives me time to get hold of those illusive Swamp Slugs of Jargono .
