As you're all such big SYW buffs can somebody point me at a good source book to bring my SYW knowledge up to scratch.

Hi Matt; where do you want to start? If you want a brief over view I may have something suitable; I will have a look before I come out tonight. If you want detail then I and other members of the club have extensive collections of Ospreys on the subject. If you want to really get into it then anything by Duffy is a good read but tends to be expensive! Terry

I'd echo Terry's Duffy recommendation. I've the two hardcore books: The Army of Maria Theresa, The Army of Frederick the Great. Neither are any good as a general history, but if you were building either army then they are all you need. Plus a quick borrow of Dave's Lace Wars Funcken ;D

Thanks all. I don't like to go into a period blind and my book case will back me up on that.
I've known for a while that the club has a large SYW following and I must say that having played a game at Mr Wilkins a year or so again visually its very appealing.
