Hello everyone
Thought I'd try out this forum, and maybe even come over for a game sometime. I usually play at Wargames Workshop on a Monday and may have seen some of you at one of Carl's Saturday tournaments.
I play 40k (Eldar and Tyranids with Sisters on the way), WFB (Bretonnians and Orcs & Goblins), AT-43 (sort of), Hell Dorado, Infinity and Confrontation.

Hi David,
Welcome to the forum.
Did you play Bretts at the tournament back in August? There were three Gladiators there playing, plus a few more popping in for a chat.
Dave: Our illustrious leader - playing Orcs & Goblins Mike: - playing High Elves - Me: Playing Wood Elves.

Hi David - nice to hear from you
Come along, you're always welcome
And bring those Bretts along - if you are the David who beat up my Elves at the tourement, I'm definately up for a rematch
Afraid I'm booked up for this Monday (6th) but I'll pencil in the 13th if you like

Unlikely to come over on a Monday at present (Cranfield is just too convenient) but will try to make a Sunday. October is unlikely as I'm running a tournament on the 18th and my wife likes to see me occasionally at weekends , so maybe November. I'll drag along Tim and his Ogres as well!

I can speak to Carl about holding a WFB tournament, but to be honest there's only been 4 players for the last 2! need 8 really to make it worthwhile.
To be honest there are very few WFB players at Cranfield, but should be enough from Rushden and bedford to make something worthwhile. maybe it just needs a bigger push/more advance notice?

Hi David As I recall, we had six players in the last one (mostly from Bedford) There are quite a few WFB players here at Bedford and Canfield isn't that far off There are also quite a few at Rushden, but I'm not sure how convienient Cranfield is from there The trick I think is to advertise on this forum well in advance - give everbody plenty of notice Also, the Rushen club has a similar forum at phoenixgamingrushden.proboards105.com/index.cgi - you could try advertising it there Oh, and for the record - if you do organise a WFB contest, count me in Hope this helps Mike

Oh, and for the record - if you do organise a WFB contest, count me in Me too. I was at the last one with my Wood Elves. Mike is right, there were 6 of us - 3 of us from the Gladiators.

I would be interested in playing; but I do need a bit of notice.

I too was at the last tournie, and would liketo playagain. Maybe using the yahoo group interwargamesclub-games may also bear fruit.
