It may be nice to put some of the new members in to the role of Corps Commander, with the more experienced players as Army commanders, this should be fun! Do we want the Hexes out for this? how big are we going? By the way, I am hankerin' to be a Reb! I think we may just stick with the 2x2 boards to speed things up but we can discuss; size I suppose will be dependent upon players but something in the region of 6x14. Here is an idea... rather than put £100 in the kitty for the curry (which we have already done this year anyway!) why not see if a buffet for that Sunday would go down well? the NE club do catering, now after all! This may be a way for members who do not necessarily go to the curry having an end of year bash too! Dave This could work well but to be fair we had better see what the other members think and indeed how many people may be around.

I'm fairly sure I've played once or two games before, I'm sure I took part in a small scale scenario someone was running on one of the Sundays, forget exactly when that was.

Found thread at last! What's it doing in Tournaments section?
I'm always up for F&F; slight pro-Union prejudice but happy to be a Corps commander on either side. If you need any more figures then the Rebs I've picked up are better quality than the Blues.

Richard has a point - so I've moved the thread to opponents wanted.

i wouldn't mind trying fire and fury but don't have any ACW figures unless i can sneak in a fire and fury world war 2 army, which i guess wouldn't be allowed

Stonk - you won't need any figures of your own, we've more than enough as it is.
