Came back from my AL this morning, had a good time in Ole Sweden. I had planned to do the final chapter on the Long Sunday in March, but if people can't make it then I'd be happy to do it at any time that's convenient to us, except second Monday of the month when I play D&D. Even though there's no doubt whatsoever who'll win the campaign (congrats John , I still would like to see it through. And don't fret Dave, we can still make good use of the stagecoach. For future references I think we all agree on that the rules don't really suit us. However, I've got another set of rules that seem easy enough, even though I've only skimmed them. You've got three attributes I think, Fighting, Cool and Health, ranging from 3-6 and only Cool can improve, I think that's by 1 for each 2 or 3 games the character survives. No points involved, just the roll of a D6 to determine your stats, pick your implement of mayhem and off you go. Basically you just decide how many minis a side. The main enjoyment for me has been to play a miniature game (my first) and creating the scenarios, and of course some cool things happening (for good or worse to my Posse) during the scenarios. Therefore I'd like to play some more western-style game in the future, as I've got the minis and am not really interested in anything else, miniwise that is. See you at the club on Monday lads.

Hi Ove,
Glad you had a good trip. I had been looking to run a small 40k tournament on the long Sunday to take advantage of having more time available than on a Monday. Is there any chance you would be willing to move the finale to the 3rd Monday? (16th March) If you don't want to move LotOW then I'll cancel the tournament so I can get in on the finale.

Just a little reminder. Monday 16/3 is D-Day for LoToW, hopefully all of us can participate, but if you got other plans/ games don't feel guilty.
Rules: We're going to use a deck of cards for Initiative instead, in the order of highest card to the lowest card each round. This is to allow for a more fair chance for everyone. In case of a tie the order is, from highest to lowest value: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs.
Table is going to be 3x3 tiles (6'x6') and we deploy our posse as per rules, draw card for order of deployment.
Objective: Find the treasure that's buried in the cementary and move as many of the moneybags off the edge of the table, there are six (6) potential hiding places. Will take both Moving AND Shooting action for a mini to dig. Roll a D6, if the number on the dice is the same as for the number of the order of the marker ( first marker searched is 1, second 2 etc.) the treasure is found. If five markers are exhausted, the treasure will be under the sixth and last.
There'll be four (4) moneybags in the hole, a mini can only carry one at a time and will move at half speed whilst carrying it. If on horseback that character also moves at half speed but may carry two (2) sacks. If a character fails his Pluck test and runs for cover, he automatically drops the loot.
Winner: The one with the most number of moneybags off the table will win. In case of a draw (4 players with 1 bag each) everyone wins. If no-one gets any bags off the table the victory will go to the party who had the most bags in their possession when they legged it. If no-one wins that, the victory will then go to Last Man Standing! Phew.
