And please, no abusive / patronising / condescdending responses like last time. Thanks.
I have a D&D character sheet produced by the D&D Insider web-site. I want to e-mail it to Graham for him to print it out for me. I can't seem to open the thing outside of the D&D Insider program.
Any (helpful) suggestions ?
Thanks Martyn

Can you copy/paste the text into word or notepad?
Not ideal but would get the data delivered.

I tried copying on to notepad, but only got techno-text. I'm at work at the moment so don't have access to the file, but I think the file suffix ended in 'de' (?) - it certainly wasn't one I recognised.

Hi Martyn
I don't know the program so I'm only guessing here, but there is somehting you could try.
Firstly, does the program have a menu bar at the top? (this is a Windows standard so it should have) If so try the following:
Under the File menu look for a Save As... option. This should give you other file types to save under. If you're lucky, there may be something a bit more usful (like a Word document or a text file).
Hope that helps Mike

The program is probably a Wizards of the Coast designed one, so the file type is probably designed to only be used in their software. This means people would have to subscribe in order to use their character sheets. Thus making money which is the only thing they seem interested in since they took over D&D.

Mark, I suspect Daiv is right. The file suffix is .dnd4e
The 'save as' menu only gives me that option.

Hi Martyn, if you try printing it yourself, do you get the Windows "Select Printer" menu? How about selecting Microsoft XPS Document - would that produce a file Graham could use? (I've never tried that option myself so don't know anything about it)...Richard
