There are a few naps players in the club, but we haven't played in a while. Mostly 15mm. I have been musing over collecting some myself, but have yet to find a rule set I like. The rules being developed by Warlord and the Perry's may be good....or make up our own! Dave

I've two large armies: French & Russian - all Front Rank.
Rules are the problem. I've some for big battles, but they'd be best with 6mm rather than 28's. Was thinking of using Piquet. The Barry Hilton Republic to Empire rules look like they'll be good, but I've no idea when they'll be published - they looked almost complete in May.

has any one got any 28mm napoleonic rule books i colud get a photo copy of plese cos i just cant find a rulebook any were. dont know how many men to put in a unit i was thinking
uints like this
( british )
32 rankers 2 drummers 2 sergeants ( with pikes) 2 ensigns ( 1 kings colours and 1 regimental colours ) 1 officer and 6 skirmishers
total 45 men per uint. i think that would make a good size game with about 10 infantry uints 3 cavarly uints and 3 Artillery what do you think ?
and shoud i base them in 2s 4s or 6s

I know the question was about 28mm, but in 15mm I very much like Age of Eagles - the Fire & Fury variant (though IMHO its better than the original) and Grand Armee in 6mm.

I have the grand manner rules, this is used in both 15 and 28mm gaming, there are also base sizes and a guide for numbers for each base in both scales. I could bring them over one evening. if you are interested I could then sort out getting you a copy if this helps.
