Myself and one of the Grahams definitely play. I think a few others might, or own models... Have you fnally tempted to play like you've got a pair

I've been toying with getting into it for some time now.
Bought two painted armies off the Colours bring & buy yesterday. Cygnar & Cryx, before you ask. There's more of the latter, but they aren't the best painted.
Maybe you could give me a trashing sometime to introduce me to what's going on . . .

Mark: I'd be happy to give you a game, but I suggest if you do start that you skip the current rules and go straight to the new edition. The rules were released as a PDF for testing (which I have) but I don't know when they are releasing the book.

The rules were released as a PDF for testing (which I have) but I don't know when they are releasing the book. They released the Mk2 quick-start rules and cards earlier this week. They cover just the casters and jacks that are in the starter boxed sets. I've those models for Cygnar and Cryx. Just need to find the time to digest the rules.

Any Ideas on the name of the new book? Which books have people got?

As a bit of a future war nut, I am looking seriously at the Khador faction for Warmachine.
I will definitely be picking up some Warmachine stuff next month; and while I'm on the subject of sci-fi battlers, come November I'll be grabbing that Oni starter set if Rackham ever decide to release it.
Then I will simply need to find three games a week to play them all!

Any Ideas on the name of the new book? Which books have people got? I'm not sure what the Mk2 book will be called, but it's not due out until Jan 2010. The faction books are then due one per month after that. Cygnar is first, folowed by Khador, Menoth, Cryx and Mercenaries. Hordes to follow after that.

Brilliant, what a great link Mark! I have to say I wasn't expecting it given they already had some MkII skeleton rules for the battle boxes up.
A big thumbs up and thank you to Privateer Press! ;D

Well, if things go to plan tomorrow I will have my hands on some items to get me started with the Retribution faction.
i) Hardcover Retribution of Scyrah faction book - I'm really looking forward to the artwork and background, not to mention the rules.
ii) In the absence of a bargain priced starter battlebox - which the other factions have available - I have opted for the minis Privateer Press used to demonstrate the Retribution versus other battleboxes at recent conventions.
Namely: Warcaster: Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper Heavy Warjack: Manticore Light Warjack: Griffon Light Warjack: Chimera
Edited for typo.
