I heard about this game a while back and really like the minis. Recently it was the topic of a D6 Generation podcast which gave me a better grasp of this Victorian Steampunk-Wild West-Horror skirmish game. I think I'll pick up the rules and some minis, and was wondering if anyone else had tried it yet. I've pasted a few links below if anyone's curious about the game. A link to the company website: wyrd-games.net/The relevant D6 Generation podcast: www.thed6generation.com/index.php?post_id=585534The Malifaux review begins at 2hr43min. I personally found an audio player with a timer like iTunes made it easy to skip the rest of the show accurately and easily.

Mike,
I bought some stuff at the Reading show.
Had a little bit of read of the rules. It looks pretty good, but then decided I didn't really need another project at the moment. I'm actually thinking of selling it.
Can't remember what I bought now. Rule book, couple of fate decks and two faction starters.
Cheers
Mark

Well, I'd definitely rather have someone to compare notes with as I get into Malifaux, but if you're determined to get shot of your goodies, please do message me with the details.

I've ordered a rulebook, a Fate Deck and Pandora's starter set - the one with the possessed toddlers. Unfortunately, some bits are on reorder so I have my fingers crossed they arrive soon.

If you are still interested in a game I might be able to make the next all-day Sunday (whenever that is).
Can't make Mondays as that's when I play at Cranfield Conquerors.

Next all day Sunday is 2nd Sun in June, which is the 12th. I think a few games of Malifaux might be great, I have been concentrating on some other games at the moment...ancients, ECW, WW2 skirmish.

Looks like I'm free on the 12th so we can get a couple of games in.
Be a great change from the previous weekend which I will have spent watching other people play (tournament and demos at UK Games Expo).

I can confirm that I will be there, with a variety of crews in case anyone wants to try out the game or an alternative crew. I'll be trying out Hoffman. A couple of the Cranfield players should also be over for some games

Malifaux is on this Sunday. I have some spare crews, Dave has some spare crews, I am bringing some scenery (don't know if Dave is) so all those who are Mali curious or thoroughly Faux-ed up, come along and have a game, and see what the fuss is all about.
