so revised list of players is
Terry Mark Rob Ashleigh Mike Sapper Stephen Mawson Dave3 Graham.
9 is an awkward number. Can I therefore ask everyone to reconfim they will play with the following expectations:-
If we stay at 9 people I will play as well so we will have 2 leagues of 5 (No seperate O&G league) with 1 game against each opponent.
If 1 person drops out we will have 2 leagues of 4 - with each person playing the others twice - using 2 differen scenarios from the book.
If more than 1 person drops out we will have a single league with 1 game against each opponent.
If we have 2 leagues then we will have champion play offs as last year between the winner and runner up of each league.
NB Named characters are banned at Lord and Hero level.
Please confirm you are still in and if so provide a list by close of play Monday 25th October with Kick off planned to start Monday 8th november.

Also, Steve can you finalise rules for the tournament. What is the pts limit, scenario and stance on unpainted models (I will never paint 120 lizardmen in 6 days)

Steve
Are mages required to declare which magical lore they are going to use and to stick with that lore throughout the competition, or are they allowed to vary their lore from game to game, within the bounds of what is allowed to them by their army book, of course ?

Martyn, if we are going by the standard warhammer rules you must specify the Lore your wizard is using as part of your army list, therefore you'll have to use that lore in all games.

The definative answer (unless Steve can be bribed/bullied/cajoled into changing his mind)
At the bottom of the rule sheet Steve was giving out on Monday, under Rules Clarification, it states "Magic users that can choose between different Lores of magic must keep the same Lore from game to game as submitted in their army list"
Enough said I think

Ah, I do believe you are technically right and, as I always like to say, that's the best kind of right !
Thanks Martyn
