2)Council reports
3)Gamesday 4)GCN Consitution/Mission statement 5)Election results and New council take post/ratification of new reps
6)GCN Website
7)GCN as a resource
8)Financing the GCN
9)Events 10)Regionalisation 11)Relationship with Third Parties
12)GW battle board bus
13)AOB
The item on Financing the AGM will be of interest. Basicly tis has been mentioned before, we feel that for the GCN to actually have some real muscle and do what we want it to do it needs cash. This cash will come in some proportion, from us. I will vote posatively to a reasonable annual levy for member clubs. I hope all are aware and endorse this policy. Dave Wilkin Secretary

OK maurice and I attended the AGM. A long day! However, apart from alot of going off at a tangent and waffle not relevent to the subject matter, we eventually, and finally it seems got things on the right track, IMHO. Firstly we have a new President, as Richard has decided to standdown. The New man is Anthony barns, from COGS club. This chap on taking office gave me the impression that he was going to be a pro active type, and could be the sort we need at the helm. Other important changes , that your deligates pushed through, was to have more funds for the GCN to do the things WE need a national body to do. In order to do this it requires an income from the people who need this backing, the member clubs. So a £20 annual membership fee is to be levied from the end of May this year. With the projected 160 odd clubs in the network this will give around £ 3200 of cash for things like advertising, administration ( at present people like Laurie have been using thier own money to pay for secure postage of peoples docs for CRB) renting space for tournaments, meetings and any other activity beneficial to member clubs. Another usefull resource is that the GCN is looking to have a central supplier for T shirts and other merchandise. This would mean that we could potentially get shirts cheaper per unit. Shirts would have our logo and the GCN logo.( we would have to supply our logo!) but things are very much early days. It was decided that this mass club purchasing power could be a very usefull resource and an added benefit to member clubs. I think that many people in the GCN committee are becoming aware of a general cooling off on the GCN from GW, something we from the general gaming part of the debate have been intermating for some time. To this end, and in colusion with Battlefront, it is likely that an entry in Wargames Illustrated, similar to that in White Dwarf to advertise the GCN and member clubs is on the cards. This is due to a GCN/Battlefront tournament being organised in the UK shortly along the lines of a GT,and our national committee negotiating a very wise arrangement, I think. Our partnership with Tor gaming looks promising, with GCN member clubs likely to have 20% discount, and those of us in the play test group a whopping 40%. I had got the wrong end of the stick on what we get by the way, we get one starter set of each faction per group. The rules are in public beta already, and can be downloaded www.torgaming.co.uk/rd/I have handed in the NDA's and we will be geting the goodies shortly! All in all a good meeting, and I think we will be in a good position to thake the GCN on the path to the level we always wanted it to be. Dave Wilkin, Secretary

Sounds like the GCN is headed for interesting times, there certainly seem to be some useful items on their agenda.
