We didn't really decide on anything yesterday and not knowing anything about what models you have etc. what about some early ww2? Fall Weis or a good old fashioned Blitzkrieg in France or the Low Countries?
At the end of the day I'm happy as long as it involves fighting for freedom or crushing resistance under a panzer.

P.S. my historical knowledge and hence accuracy runs about 0.5% so beyond general ideas don't expect any sensible input on what to run from me! The Germans did use a star destroyer in the invasion of Poland, didn't they?

Dan
Pete and i settled on "Wings of War" which is a WW1 aircraft combat game. However, im more than happy to do WW2 and im sure Peter would be the same.
In terms of what we have, we mostly have forces that are suitable for post 1943 conflict. David Wilkin has early war stuff.
Can i suggest that we do a WW2 Russian front 1943 game?
Pete - that OK?
Let me know!

Yes!!! This Monday we return to the Russian Front, circa Summer 1943!
A small German unit must defend a stream crossing against an agressive Soviet unit!

Expect me too barring a cold - sneezing and coughing still hurt. Let me be one of several Soviets in case I don't last the distance.

Thank you Richard - that was, however the monday just gone when Peter and I just scraped a win against Ed. A very close thing. Of course, as usual i was nearly completely wiped out!
I trust your op went well then?
Next Monday i shall probably be a bit later to the club so i suspect that we will do something like Wings of War or Trafalgar, which you are of course welcome to join in on, as is everyone else!
