Attention!
If you can get the Military History channel i urge you to watch the new series of Greatest Tank Battles. Better than the first series with superior graphics, first hand accounts, archive footage it deals with some excellent battles - 1973 Yom Kippur, Winter 1943/4 Army Group North and the Tigers of the 502nd Heavy Tank battalion - watch Otto Carius as he fights, outnumbered 20 to 1 against the Soviets - it is superb! Impressive Italian Front episode, WW1 - first tank v tank engagement - its all here and it is superb!

I've recorded a load of the on my tivo, only one I've seen is Canadians at Ortona, though.
Had to give last night a miss, full of cold and didn't want to pass it on!

Well thats bad news old chap as you missed myself and Peter as Soviets being slaughtered again by Ed and Richard as Boche! Once again the Marders were superb but the combat debuts of Panzer IIIs and the Elephant performed well.
Next week we will be in the Normandy Bocage!
See you then hopefully!
