Its winter 1945 and the British Army is driving hard into Germany. Comet tanks are in the lead - the newest and best British tank of the war. Can the rag-tag German army stop them? We will find out on Monday evening!
Mein Fuhrer! I have my PanzerFaust and im ready to defend Germany!

Winter 45? Seems a bit unsporting - they surrendered in May! :-)

Well that is certainly true BUT 1945 saw increasing numbers of hard hitting German AFVs so we shall see what interesting taanks and tank destroyers we can use. Also, large numbers of PanzerFausts for the infantry to use, so it should be good!

Well Carl and I did OK as German's - he as the Hitler Youth boy, me as the Old Volkstrum. BUT Peter, David and Graeme made good progress up the board, dealing with each obstacle as it appeared. Good use of smoke blocked the line of sight of the JagdTiger. The 2 Jagdpanthers couldnt stop the Comets and, despite some good kills of Cromwells by the Pak 40, the sdkfz 251/22 and at the end, the Beute Firefly the Brits triumphed. Good Game, Good Game!
