I had a thought the other day that it would be good to have a Bolt action campaign. Nothing too complex, more a set of linked games, with a master map linking game maps. Simply each side have start areas, and move forward one map at a time until they meet a contested map, that is both factions occupy the same map. The game is played, and the victor keeps the ground or moves on, the loser retreats one map, or two if severely beaten. The campaign completes when one side achieves pre set victory conditions.
When we have run tournaments or campaigns before, it has engaged lots of the members, and guaranteed there are plenty of games played regularly at club. Any one interested? I propose to stage the game in NW Europe, '44, post DDay. Players will make a 2000 pt army, and will on finding they have a game, roll off with their opponent. A 1 or 2 they play 800 pts 3,4 1000 pts 5,6 1200 pts. Once a unit is dead it is out of the campaign. We are looking for. Allied, and axis players. Armoured formations are allowed,
Who is interested?
