See my thread - I have a LW German army and am looking for a game of FOW on Monday ! Do you want to have a 1500 pt bash ?

as long as you dont mind playing a newbie, sure- 1500 points might be too big for one evening though- i will slow things down as i need to read the rulebook alot:)

Stonk (BTW - what's your name, I can't keep calling you Stonk ?)
Happy to play a newbie - we've all been there, after all. Take your point about what's managemable in an evening, but would still recommend 1500 pts for several reasons: 1. its quite hard to field a balanced LW German force at much less that 1500 (!); 2. I already have some 1500 pt army lists written and ready to go; 3. the club comp. is 1500 ots and I'd like to use this as a bit of a dry run for that; 4. 1500 is traditional.
If we don't finish we don't finish. 1500 pts is usually manageable in an evening - depends on how adventurous the players are and what scenarion is being played. As yo're fielding paras I suspect you'll do little moving and a lot of lying still, gone to ground waiting to pick off my tanks as they venture close enough to see your concealed veterans. So we might get through quicker than usual.
I'll bring along 1500 pts of GermanGrenadiers, anyway.
See you tonight, Martyn
