I'm not sure if tonight's session will go ahead.
Chris isn't going to be able to make it, so we're down to just three PC's, not ideal in the middle of your exploration of the caves under the well.
Plus it's the AGM tonight meaning that we're likely to start pretty late.
I'll bring my stuff with me, but if people would rather wait until we get a full complement of players, we can always do something else.

Ok that's a definite postponement then. Only 2 PC's isn't going to work.
I'm feeling a bit under the weather anyway, so if the game's not running I might skip the AGM in favour of an early night and some extra sleep.

Looking forward to tonight’s session!
I believe we are in the cave system beneath the camp’s well. After our slightly desperate fights with the darkmantles and with the little cave things, Saphia has only 2 telekinetic fist spells left, touch of the sea, alter self and one empty level 1 spell slot (which she can fill with 15 mins quick study if I remember correctly).
In other words she has used nearly all her battle spells and will be basically carrying the everburning torch or using her short bow and keenly intelligent mind until we rest again. Happy to press on however but thought you all ought to be aware!
She does have 10 charges left on her wand of Flaming Sphere however!

Hi all,
As we have a little down time, and the ship is due any time, I guess we need to start talking about what we are going to trade.
I do not know exactly what we have to trade (over to you Saphia), but I do recall a couple of +1 Spears that nobody really wanted, which should net us around 2000gp between them (give or take a bit).
As for purchases: I would like to put in a bid for a magical chain shirt (1250gp for a +1) or an amulet of natural armour (1000gp for a +1).
As your primary melee fighter, I feel that this is necessary equipment.

Early one morning, rather than disappearing to whatever room or shed Saphia has started to use as a makeshift lab, some of you are probably disturbed by the sound of some sort of banging on the eaves of our house and muffled bad language (in several languages). Those venturing outside will find that Saphia has marked out a large square of sand outside our house with seaweed and set up warnings in the sand that no one should cross this square "on pain of fiery death". Saphia eventually succeeds in her current enterprise, which is to attach a grappling hook and knotted rope to the side of the house so that anyone can climb up it with ease. She is now sat on the roof of the house, concentrating and using magic to write a big list in the square of sand she marked out on the ground. Anyone asking why she is using this method will be met with the short grumpy answer that she would rather be set upon by 50 chokers than use one of her sheets of precious parchment on this purely mercenary enterprise which is taking her away from important work and making her climb up the side of the house. Some might comment that clever people are not always wise. However hopefully they won't comment on this loudly within Saphia's hearing on a day when she is clearly grumpy. She gets grumpier when she lists out some of the valuable historical artefacts that she realises it is probably sensible to sell but really we are apparently now barbarians who don't appreciate History and sell off this amazing stuff for mere money. She lists the valuable personal items separately because, well, are these really ours? Anyone joining her on the roof will see the following writing appear: Current pure cash reserves: 833gp List of things we jointly have and no one has claimed: - Gold ring "my dearest Livy" inscription 125gp

After Saphia has finished all of this (around midday), Dumas will walk out into to square of sand and add the following: - +1 Trident
- +1 Spear
- +1 Seabourne Glaive (this is a +2 weapon)
- Ioun Stone (Cracked dark blue Rhomboid) - +1 to perception and sense motive
- 3 ordinary tridents
- 3 potions of Cure Light + 1 potion of Core Medium (although I am unsure if these were used) (I will claim those if nobody else wants them)
- Books on Ioun Stone theory and technology (Estimated value 5,000) (although I suspect that Saphia will want those)
- 2 recording gems (value 1500gp) (although I suspect these may be more useful here)
- Saphia's spellbook (value 1600gp) (although I suspect that Saphia will want to keep hold of this)
Also, you can remove from that list - One steel flask with an R engraved on it -- Dumas has that
Note that I did not include anything already claimed (which is why there is only one +1 trident) This took about an hour (so Dumas still has time for lunch)

Ok, XP from last nights session, since I didn't have time to calculate it yesterday before we had to leave.
Last night you earned 900 XP each, from the Sahuagin fights and other encounters.
Plus another 200 XP from the Basalt you found at the abandoned Ulfen settlement in the previous session.
So 1,100 XP in total.

Having looked it the options I think I will go with a 1/2 elf summoner to provide some front line muscle "working all 6" to keep the party safe.
