As we nearly made it through the scenario books last time, it would be fun to actually get through both of them this time. Therefore we're starting anew again.
Anyone not familiar with the game, called When Darkness Comes from Twilight Creations, it's a mixture of a boardgame and a RPG. You have your own figure you move around the gaming area, killing off various Undead (in the Basic Rules) and Lycanthropes (first Expansion). You have a character sheet and will earn Skill Points and gaining Abilities through the scenarios, providing your character survives of course.
This calls for a pretty consistent playing group for a few sittings, reckon we can do 2 scenarios/ night, meaning about 4 meetings/ scenario book. The number of players is not really a problem, any number up to 8 or so should be alright.
As I'm not totally satisfied with the figures provided with the game, I'd appreciate if someone have any minis we can use. Preferably modern types, Cthulhu investigators would be superb outlookwise, and maybe rather 25mm than 28mm. If not we stick to what we have.
That's our suggestion for the coming gaming Mondays, but as usual, if people rather play something else, we're easy.
The Swede.

As you might have predicted I'd be very much up for this. No investigative miniatures on tap though unfortunately.

I'm also interested in playing, as I enjoyed the game last time around, depending on how frequently you're looking at running the game.
If you're looking at say two games a month for example then that's fine, any more frequently than that and I'll have to miss a few weeks in order to fit in my last couple of Warhammer league games, and then the Flames of War league games.
I don't think I have any appropriate figures either, pretty much all of mine are wargames oriented.

All people interested are of course welcome. And the plan is to play it when people (probably mostly Stephen and Maurice) haven't got anything else booked in, to give everybody equal opportunities. ;D As far as the minis go, I could bring the Cluedo figures as well (Reverend Green looks like a hitman for the mafia, Miss Scarlet like a mistress and Colonel Mustard like a, well, an officer... ). I, Agnes, Stephen, Dave and Maurice have played it previously I believe, can't remember if Joe was involved or not. The rules are not complicated, you roll a number of dice (D6) dictated by your Attribute (1-6 dice) and Skill (+1 or 2 dice) and try to score basically as high pokerhand as possible to succeed and kill monsters, each task has a minimum "hand" that you need to get, 3K for instance means that you need to have three of a kind at least to succeed, anything less is a failure. But because of contradicting rules, I've attempted to clear them up and put them on a reference sheet. After each scenario, the player with the highest number of points wins the scenario and may raise one Attribute by 1, to a maximum of 6. You gain points for finding Items, convincing Allies to join you, killing Monsters and healing other Players!! The last thing is because it's mainly a co-op game, and if a character dies, everybody else are going to loose a life, simulating the agony, chock and despair that the others feel. For each 10 points that you get, you can trade them in for a Skill Point and buy Skills after the scenario. Great fun though! I'll bring it Monday gentlemen. The Swede.

How dare you forget that I played last time I think I did reasonably well, if memory serves. Looking forward to it

At my age I struggle to remember what I did yesterday , so don't act so surprised Joe. I would be in deep do-do if the cops would ask me about my whereabouts last week or such. In crime dramas everybody seem to remember what they did (or thought they did), at a certain time, even a year before!! Anyway, maybe we'll finally manage to get through both scenario books finally.
