I just got this game from Fantasy Flight, will endevour to get through the rules this weekend (all 48 pages of it). And hopefully we can have a go this Monday. Space is a bit limited though, maximum 5 players, but if many are interested, we can share the characters (and rule-flicking...).
Looks very solid though, cool concept and nice drawings, lots of markers for different things, different range of move depending on how fast your vehicle is, clues, suspects, alibis and much much more.
Basic story is, an android has been murdered and you'll try to find out who did it and in the process uncover a conspiracy collecting puzzle pieces. Playing time according to the company is 120-240 mins. (but knowing their recommendation on Runebound, it's closer to 240 mins than anything else, and first time around.)
MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU LOT.

Agnes and I had a whack at it yesterday, familiarising ourselves with the game. With combined efforts we can get through it. Should be quite interesting with more than 2 players, as that would bring more evidence pieces to the board and more possible happenings in general. Took us quite a while to set up though, but we've sorted all the markers into zip-lock bags, so it should go much easier this time. Need quite a bit of space for the board and your characters, but that's usually not a problem.
I like Fantasy Flight products (Runebound & Arkham Horror) because they look nice and are well thought through. But they usually take quite a while to play, so I don't expect us to finish the game tonight, it would be a welcome bonus, but not a likely prospect as we have to "learn" it.
Have set my eyes on another game from FF called Kingsburg that looks fun (90-120 min playtime for a change), and another game called A Touch of Evil: The supernatural Board Game (60-90 min.) Order them next year... ;D

Given the rules, which Ove helpfully sent me a PDF link to, I think we should be able to get far enough into the game to be able to fairly sensibly declare a murderer and score up, even if we don't manage to get right through the full two weeks of the investigation.
The game sounds very interesting and I'm looking forward to playing it.

How did it go? I'm interested at giving this a punt, whenever there's enough time/interest for it.

Veeeery complicated game, needs probably to be played once or twice to get the hang of it. But as we've spent £30+ on it, it would be a shame not to play it more times, we'll bring it around some other time.

Given the length of time it seems to need to be played through to the conclusion I'd suggest we probably need to set aside a Sunday to play it.

I concurr with Stephen on that note, that's sadly a common factor in Fantasy Flight games playtime. Usually they take a looong time playing, and you can easily add an hour or two on top of what the box says... Could be fun to have a whole Long Sunday with boardgames though, got Android, Runebound and Arkham Horror in particular that takes quite a while to play through (probably 4+ hrs each). Take your pick, maybe something for February/ March? The Swede.
