Hi all
I'm proposing to start up a new RuneQuest campaign in the near future
This will take place in and around the city of Pavis on the Zola Fel river in Prax - for those of you who have no idea what all that means (most of you I suspect) don't worry, all will be explained
PCs will be a lot freer to act as they wish than in my previous (somewhat abortive) campaign and the whole society is, in general, a lot less restrictive - I freely admit I pitched that a bit too tight last time
I haven't yet decided when this is going to run - I'm thinking possible in the all-day Sunday sessions but that's not definate yet - could run it anytime you guys want
I'm looking for between 3 and 6 players selected strictly on a first come, first served basis
I already have some interest from Chris, Di, John and Joe, but this is unconfirmed - can you confirn please guys?
If you're interested, please leave your name on this thread along with details of when, and how often, you would prefer the play
Regards
Mike

Just to give you a brief taster:
The setting, Glorantha, is basically a late Bronze Age universe
Prax is a semi-desert region in the south of the northern continant (Genertela) dominated by a number of city-states (think ancient Greece)
Pavis is one of the more powerful of these city-states
The whole area has recently been annexed by a the Lunar Empire, an expansionist and highly aggressive empire based to the north-west of Prax (think Rome - complete with legions, gladiatorial games and nailing people to trees)
The Lunars are, of course, not well liked and the local people (i.e. you lot) tend to blame them for everything that is wrong with the world (nobody likes a conquering army)
In fact they are really no worse (nor indeed better) than everybody else, although they do have a few religious and magical practices that everybody else considers heretical, sacrilegious, or evil - and usually all three
Whether such claims are true or not is, as always, purely a matter of opinion
