1500 pts - try-out for club comp

Thanks for the game, Mike.
You'll need to rework that list if you're going to use it in the tournament, as it turns out it was illegal. The Archers have a minimum unit size of 10+ :-)

Illegal list!? I'll bring the Rope, all we need now is a stool, blade and and horse, then we'll have his quarters to the four corners of the land in no time.
Who won by the way? Did Mike at least keep his characters away from the Giant Lizards with big sticks.

Did Mike at least keep his characters away from the Giant Lizards with big sticks. Yep, Mike's Wizards avoided the Kroxigor. Sadly, for him, one was suicide charged by the Terradons (3 of them into 5 Dragon Princes plus mage, still killed the Mage even against ASF). One got smoked by Salamanders, and the Fire Wizard ran off a turn later when the illegal Archers got smoked by the same Salamanders. I've got to admit that first magic phase was scary. Partly because I forgot about the possibility of the Ring of Fury, and partly because I couldn't get a dispel off. Mike got the following off in his first turn. Conflagration of Doom = 4 dead skinks Curse of Arrow attraction = 6 more dead skinks later in the turn Flames of the Phoenix = 7 dead skinks Drain Magic Unfortunately for Mike the Flames of the Phoenix uncovered my Terradons, who charged in and nailed the Ring of Fury Mage. ASF - pah! After that the magic phase was less threatening. Although Mike did get off 3 more spells in turn 2 Conflagration of Doom on 16 - scrolled Curse of Arrow attraction IF = 11 hits on Kroxigor, 7 unsaved wounds !!! Drain Magic At the end all the Elves were dead. Score would have been something like: Lizards: 2000 pts Elves: 402 pts I tried the stupid General again. He didn't go stupid once, but I was scared stiff rolling the test at one point when the Saurus unit he was with needed to turn 90 deg to avoid being hit in the flank by 5 Dragon Princes. Perhaps I should have left the model at home again, as Mike managed to put a wound on him with an Elven Steed, despite his 0+AS, 4+WS Mike's list was interesting, if somewhat small. Three L2's with assorted Magic stuff Lion Chariot Tiranoc Chariot Swordmasters (15 or so) Archers (5 illegal ones 5 Dragon Princes 2 Bolt Throwers I had more Skinks than he had wounds in his entire army!!! A really fun game though.

Ah - sorry guys - genuine mistake there The special units are 5 man minimums, and I'm just assumed it was the same for the core units (not reading the army book properly)
Anyway - not finally defined the campaign list yet, so it'll get fixed in the next definition
