Mike and Stephens talk of Full Thrust caught my interest (being a big BFG fan) and having looked it up and seen some of the great models (and very interesting looking Vector movement option) I'd really like to give it a try.
Would someone who has some Full Thrust models mind giving me a game at some point as I'd like to try it out before dropping some money on it. I'm playing Mark at WFB on Monday 9th, but I've got nothing planned for other club dates.
Thanks, John

Hi John
Come down on Sunday and join in with us if you like John I'm sure I can find a cruiser sqaudron for you to play with
BTW: We tend not to use the vector movement rules - not that there're that diffecult to use, it's just that they tend to overpower the capital ships (which are, lets face it, more than powerful enough as it is)

If you and Stephen are ok with that then it sounds great.
From what I had read I expected the Vector rules to be less common so that's no problem, it's not like I don't like the normal cinematic style of movement anyway.

Hi again John I assume BFG is Battle Fleet Gothic If so, and you already have some ships for that, all you need is game stats - GZG isn't like any of the GW (they don't insist that only their models are legal) - all you need is FT stats The rule book includes rules for building your own ship designs - and what's more they're available as a free download from the GZW website so you can get started without spending any money at all Go to www.groundzerogames.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=category§ionid=9&id=29&Itemid=50 and follow the links The build rules are in Fleet Book 1

I don't think Steve will have a problem with that, so we'll see you on Sunday then

That's fine by me if you want to join in. As we're looking at playing a pretty large points game, an extra player or two will only help speed the play up.
Some of the fleet I'm intending to use on Sunday are BFG ships, the rest are official GZG NAC ships.

Well that's OK Steve
I'll be using a mix of officail GZW ESU ships, Babelon 5 ships and BFG ships. In fact, I think my BFG ships come from three different races (or possibly more) - I've never play BFG so I'm not sure about that, I just bought the models and created Full Thrust stats for them.
Really doesn't matter as long as the stats comply with teh Full Thrust rule set.
