We're organising a [glow=green,2,300]Malifaux[/glow] Open Day at the Cranfield Social Club on Sunday 29th August.
Free format at the moment - just find an opponent and play games, but demos will also be available.
We have as many tables as needed (though appropriate scenery may be at a premium) and plenty of spare crews if you want a demo or even to try out a different faction or master.
Finally, we may even have the new Rising Powers expansion book available!

Have...to...resist...temptation... FAIL!!! Now, what times are we talking about here? I've got to work out how to be able to play AND take care of my daughter at the same time, Agnes works weekends. Hmm, have to get my forces together as well, unless I could borrow a unit to have a bash or two.
Anyways, I'm definately interested. Worst case I can come and watch only.

Not sure about times at the moment - probably from 10am.
Anyway do pop by, we'll have spare crews to use, and Steve or I can run through a game with you - basic rules are picked up easily, working out how to win takes a bit longer!

We're aiming to get to the club from 10:00 - games to start when you've found an opponent. Directions can be found on the club website www.cranfield-conquers.co.uk but basically we're on the main road through Cranfield campus (not Cranfield village) in the large function room of the Campus Social Club. Don't think food is available, though there is a bar, so might be worth packing some sarnies! Looking forward to a good day, especially as we'll have the new expansion book to peruse between games. |

I hope to make it, although I'll have to bring my 9 month daughter in tow. Therefore not sure if I'll play, but at least it'll be a day out for both of us. See you guys there.
