Question about shade and highlight mixing.

Now that I'll soon be able to play again, I've had some thoughts about colour schemes for my upcoming Malifaux minis. Gonna be a garish united mix of purple, green, red and orange, maybe an individual colour here and there but mostly these.

Now the question: suggested colour to mix with GW Blazing Orange for shade and highlight? I was thinking of putting red as base, Blazing Orange and mix Sunburst Yellow with the orange for highlighting but don't know how that'd turn out. Don't really fancy buying any more colours as the one's I've got are not used that much these days.

I would suggest a brown basecoat, unless you are specificly after fire effects. And maybe a 3 part white to 1 part yellow drybrush lightly on top of the last yellow!

Thanks Dave, and it's not a fire effect. Mostly for the hilts and guard on the Witchling Stalker's swords, but I might also play around with the orange elsewhere...
