Well I'm sorry to say it again .......
PLEASE at the end of the evening, when you put away the terrain and equipment that you have been using can you make sure that you put it away carefully.
Last night - 1st November i went to put away the stuff that id been using and found David's 40k terrain ( i think thats what is is) in its grey containers precariously balanced on top of my large home made office building. This terrain item sits in its own box which is slightly too small for it and part of the building sticks out the top. As you can imagine I'm not happy about finding heavy plastic containers sitting on top of this building.
Now, i know who was using David's terrain and who was responsible for this carelessness.
I simply ask all of us in this public forum to care for all of the items in the storage area. I am tired of having to take my own stuff home and items that belong to others and the club and fix them because someone has been careless.
Ive made these points before and the last time we all made a splendid effort and built the new storage racks. This has been a great success and has helped us all keep the storage area tidy.
Can i make a suggestion that i believe would be a great help?
Simply this - if you are doing a large game with terrain, please stop gaming at 10.30. The idea is that this now gives you 30 minutes to carefully pack everything away. If you don't rush the models can be packed away more carefully and placed up in the storage area more carefully. Don't forget please that we do have to be out of the North End Club by 11pm.
Also can i please remind you to put away the tables and chairs that you use and return the function room to how it was at the beginning of the evening. This includes returning glasses to the bar and putting crisp packets etc in the bin.
So really i ask us all to look after the club's property and the property of members.
Simples!
