Thanks for running it John - really enjoyed it
Apart from the obviously enjoyable magbooted-to-ceiling heavy bolter spray of death I really enjoyed the aspect of attempting to plan a raid on an environment we knew the layout of - which is a very different prospect to most rpg encounters I've played - especially when coupled with the fact that we have defined primary, secondary and tertiary objectives.
As we briefly discussed, I'm also in favour of just rolling a new character should we die - what's the point of being a superhuman genetically enhanced soldier in a fictitious far futuristic world if you can't heroically lose your life for your god emperor?!

Mike is that an image of the Tandoor oven cooking my meal to perfection, or my arse afterward? ;D

having experienced David's "wind difficulty" during a Club Curry might i suggest that it is an illustration of what will be happening on Saturday night. I feel sorry for Lynne!

It feels like I just cracked a rib laughing at that one Dave! ;D (If by a tandoor oven cooking your meal you meant a marine with a heavy flamer braising hordes of xenos, then bon appetit! )

It's usually best not to ask too many questions about where the meat comes from for those very reasons
